David Smith

Concept Life Sciences

David Smith is Technical Director for Analytical and Development Services (ADS) within Concept Life Sciences. He has a MSc in Analytical Chemistry, together with 30 years experience working in Environmental Analysis. He has worked the last 16 years at the various ADS locations cross the UK. His current role includes overseeing and managing all R&D within the different laboratories. He guides the implementation of new technology and efficiencies that ensure Concept Life Sciences is at the front of it''s current markets. He is also actively involved in setting up new and developing market streams.
Prior to joining Concept Life Sciences, David has worked for several competitor laboratories, and has particular expertise in trace organic analysis, gained from a working in a variety of different environments, including a public analyst laboratory and an oil and gas exploration company.
